GHG EMISSIONS DECLARATION AND INVENTORY
In recent years, the federal and provincial governments have required that all companies that emit contaminants contributing to greenhouse gases (GHG) in the atmosphere, whose quantity is equal to or greater than their assertion threshold, communicate the annual quantity of GHG (in metric tons of CO2 equivalent) to their responsible Ministry (provincial and/or federal).
Production of GHG emissions declarations and inventories:
ECOCERT Canada offers its services to help companies with their GHG declaration to the Ministry.
Furthermore, ECOCERT Canada also offers its services to conduct an inventory of the GHG emissions for all companies who wish to know their own GHG emissions inventory. For a company, knowing the quantity of their own GHG emissions is the first step to establishing actions that focus on their reduction.
